Departing

  1. Check-in Counter

    In the first floor lobby, go to the check-in counter of your airline and check-in. Here you will check in your suitcase or other baggage. Don't forget to have your passport ready!

  2. Flight Information and Baggage Inspection

    Go up the stairs or escalator to the second floor departure lobby. After checking your flight time and departure gate on the flight information board, continue on to baggage inspection.

  3. Outbound Passport Control

    At the customs counter, confirm duty-free items that are leaving the country and declare foreign made products that you currently posses and are taking with you. After having your passport and boarding pass checked at Outbound Passport Control, go up the stairs or escalator to the third floor.

  4. Departure Lounge

    Until boarding for your flight is announced, take a break in the international departure lounge. For international departures, there is a duty-free store and light meals and snacks. Once you hear the boarding announcement for your flight, go through the gate and down to the second floor.

  5. Boarding (Concourse and Boarding Bridge)

    While watching the airplane getting closer with each step, proceed across our lively concourse, over the boarding bridge, and onto the airplane.

Arriving

  1. Arrival (Concourse)

    Cross the boarding bridge to the concourse. Proceed to "Quarantine/ Passport Control."

  2. Passport Control

    Turn in the quarantine questionnaire at the entrance counter. Once you have gone through the quarantine and immigration inspections (Passport Control), go down the stairs or escalator to the first floor baggage claim.

  3. Baggage Claim and Customs

    Get your baggage from the baggage claim, go through the procedures at the quarantine and customs stations, then head towards the exit. "Welcome to Niigata" is displayed on the wall.

  4. Arrival Lobby

    Welcome home! Or welcome to Niigata! Please feel free to make use of the tourism guide board and the waiting space by the front exit.
